Civic Center, Denver, Colorado, USA

The urban design project focused on transit-oriented development. This project also applies TOD standards developed by ITDP. The detailed site analysis shows imbalanced land use and under- utilized open spaces. On the other hand, it has high surface parking and shows less dependency on public transport. Therefore detailed recommendations were developed regionally and specific to the site. The project aims to intensify residential areas and revitalize corridors to activate the civic center.
